This module is divided into two units and will include the following:
Unit 1:
Introduction to 3 stage process of observing, assessing and planning
- Examining observation, documentation and assessment formats
- Practicing the observation & assessment process
- Managing the observation & assessment process in settings
Unit 2:
- Question & Answer session re implementation of process
- Addressing the correlation between involvement, wellbeing and children's learning
- Closer look at connection between observation, assessment and planning for learning
- Distinction and correlation between observation and evaluation of learning
Time: Each session lasts 1 hour 15 mins
Cost: £160 & VAT per school/setting
Audience: Practitioners working with children age 2-8 years
