Introducing the  How to Do Play Training Series

The How to Do Play Series is designed to transform your approach to play-based learning. It focuses on three key areas: Play, Outdoor Learning, and Observation. You can complete all three modules or choose to focus on just one at a time.

This step-by-step live training provides practical and transformative strategies to help you embed high-quality play experiences into your setting. Each module consists of 75-minute live sessions, with a focus on implementation between sessions to ensure meaningful progress.

  • Examining observation, documentation and assessment formats 
  • Practicing the observation & assessment process 
  • Managing the observation & assessment process in settings

16th April 2026 (19:00 – 20:15)

  • Question & Answer session re implementation of process
  • Addressing the correlation between involvement, wellbeing and children's learning
